Copying Someone is the highest form of Flattery, Right?

Flattery - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flattery

I have been told that when you copy someone, or use their ideas, it is the highest form of flattery. Is that true?? I'm about to find out. We know a family that recently relocated to San Fransisco and started a daily blog of their activities. I can't tell you how much we've enjoyed reading their daily "journeys". Daily, we feel like this family is taking us on a virtual tour of their field trip and adventures. We have learned so much, and never set foot in San Fransisco. Personally it makes me want to jump on a plane and explore with them!!!

In any event, we are going to copy their idea. We don't live in nearly as exciting place. But we do participate and experience some interesting things in our travels. We are hoping to share with our friends too. May those who read this travel and learn with us.

Now about 'us'. We are a family of three. M is the stay at home mother who homeschools B. B is the 11 year old son, who is being homeschooled. And T is the wage earner. Currently our living situation is interesting, to say the least. We own a house in Dexter, Michigan. It is on the market for sale. M and B are living in my parents summer lake house. Each summer we are lucky enough to enjoy life on a small inland lake. T is living in Champaign-Urbana, IL. He works for Caterpillar. Once we sell our home and summer ends, the plan is for M and B to relocate to IL. Where we will live together as a family. Time will tell when all of this falls into place.
