Japan House at U of I

What a pleasant surprise when we were searching the U of I campus map. Unfortunately, the Japan House was closed today. BUT it is on our list of things to do when we come the next time. We can take a tour of the house, and even participate in a tea ceremony. Even though there was no one around today, we did get to walk through the gardens. It was very peaceful, simple and beautiful. Come take a look (and check back when we can visit again).
